Jeff Wagner & The 300 PDF Print E-mail

When asked what inspired Jeffrey Alan Wagner to run for city council in the 7th ward, Jeff responded
I had a few drinks @ a local bar and after a lengthy debate with close friends, I decided to run.” He added that the city needed someone who actually knows the streets, explores them and rediscovers them on a regular basis. "Yeah, maybe it was impulsive" ( with less than a $100 budget & a handful of volunteers, Jeff went on to capture several hundred+ votes, which in a race where only 4200 votes were cast is not a bad showing for 100 bucks. (the incumbant had a $100,000 war chest)  In the new Rank voting Jeff still managed a 2nd place ranking. and that's "Cool".

Jeff is a hard working person who understands the grind of a 40 hour week, who instead of getting the rest he sometimes craves, chases his dream, spending the extra time (and money) producing a weekly cable television series called: MRTC (Modern Rock Twin Cities), which features the Twin Cities & the surrounding regions vibrant nightlife.

Sometimes its like having a 2nd 40 hour work week, but I love the challenge and I get to meet some of the most passionate individuals. I love it.

Jeffrey Alan Wagner has heard that he does not have the usual background in politics, but with a smile and a handshake or a high 5. Jeff is proud to say:

That does not sound like a bad thing.

Jeffrey Alan Wagner & his ragtag resistance to the status quo thank the 300+ who showed up to the polls & voted to rock the council. Please sign up to this site which is currently being revamped. Maybe we can throw a party & actually get to know each other. Maybe even plot & plan something that forces the status quo to remember that 300 could turn into 30,000 if our cries become viral so don't underestimate our needs, our dreams, our pain.
